Who we are
oopsnewcar.com ("OopsNewCar," "we," "us") is run by OopsNewCar, a Ford and Hyundai sales representative based in Tomball, Texas, serving the Houston area and buyers in other states. This policy explains what we collect when you use this site, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- What you give us: your name, phone number, email, whether you want a new or used vehicle, whether you have a trade-in, and the best time to call.
- Collected automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, the page that referred you, and ad campaign tags in the link you clicked (for example, utm_source or fbclid).
- Cookies and pixels: if active, tools from Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google (Analytics and Ads) and TikTok use cookies and similar technology to measure visits and form submissions from our ads.
Sending the form does not run a credit check. We don't ask for your Social Security number, date of birth or income on this site.
How we use it
- To call, text or email you about the vehicle, trade-in or financing you asked about.
- To check availability, prepare quotes and help get you approved.
- To understand which ads and pages work so we can improve them.
- To prevent spam and abuse, and to meet legal requirements.
Calls and texts
When you send the form, you agree that we may contact you about your request by phone, text or email at the number and address you gave us, including by automated means. Consent is not required to buy a vehicle. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help.
We do not sell or share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to help you buy a vehicle or to run this site:
- The dealership I work with, plus its lenders and financing partners, when you move forward with a purchase or financing.
- Service providers that run this site for us: Cloudflare (hosting and lead storage), Web3Forms (lead email delivery), and Meta, Google and TikTok (analytics and ad measurement, when active).
- Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Ads and cookies
Meta, Google and TikTok may use cookies and similar tools to measure and improve our ads. You can manage ad personalization in your Facebook ad preferences, Google My Ad Center and TikTok's in-app ad settings, opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and block cookies in your browser settings. This site still works with cookies turned off.
How long we keep it
We keep lead information only as long as we need it to help you and keep normal business records, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we have about you, or ask us to stop contacting you. Call . We'll respond within 45 days.
Security
This site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and leads are stored in a password-protected system. No website is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
This site is for adults shopping for a vehicle. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here and change the effective date above.
